Where did you serve and what did you do?

USAF two years active duty. ANG four years. I was stationed at Malmstrom AFB in Montana where I worked in base supply. In the ANG I was a communications specialist.

How are you Still Serving?

I am the on-call Rabbi for the Phoenix VA hospital. Otherwise I do community service working with the Arizona Kosher Food Pantry. In addition to the above I am the COR to a scout troop for Post 210.

Why do you do it?

Rabbi Hillel used to say: If I am not for myself who will be for me? And, if I am for myself, what am I? And if not now, when? Pirkei Avot 1:14
