Where did you serve and what did you do?

I’ve been part of our military family since 1989. I’ve served in 4 major operations. Operation Restore Hope (1993-94) Egypt and Somalia as an HVAC Specialist; Operation Southern Watch (2000), Qatar as an Administrative Specialist; Operation Freedom Sentinel (2016) Djibouti, Africa as a Financial Management Paying Agent; Operation Freedom Sentinel (2020-21) Qatar as a Services Specialist.

How are you Still Serving?

I’m still in the Ohio Air National Guard. I recently returned from a deployment.

Why do you do it?

Family tradition. My father served in the Korean War as well with a couple of my other uncles, another uncle served in WWII, my grandfather WWI.
