How are you Still Serving?

I currently work as a firefighter (Battalion Chief) for the Modesto Fire Department. In addition, I am active in my immediate and extended community with a number of mountain biking and trail efforts; to include founding member and head coach of a high school mountain bike race team, affiliated with the National Interscholastic Cycling Association.

Why do you do it?

I am fortunate to have had the opportunity to serve my country, earn a bachelor’s degree, and now serve in the community where I live doing what I enjoy; being a firefighter and working to improve my community through my advocacy interests and efforts.
