Where did you serve and what did you do?
Vietnam 68-69 LZ Stud firebase, wireman with 3/12, artillery.
How are you #StillServing?
I have been with the Howard County Volunteer Fire Dept. for the past 12 years driving a pumper truck and fighting wildfires, tank battery oil fires, structure fires and miscellaneous vehicle fires.
Why do you do it?
Since retiring from the Marine Corps in 1991, I had been missing something in my life. When I joined HCVFD I felt a gratification that I had not experienced since being in the Marine Corps. I feel alive and fulfilled about giving back to my community.
