Where did you serve and what did you do?

I served from 1956-1960 in the US Navy aboard the USS Wedderburn DD684 and the USS Henderson DD785, participating in 3 Western Pacific cruises including active participation in Formosa Patrol, Quemoy/Matsu defense activities.

How are you Still Serving?

I am a member of a volunteer group that builds handicap ramps and performs home repairs for poor, indigent and elderly citizens. Our group consists of about a dozen retired men and more than 50 percent veterans. We have built numerous handicap ramps for fellow veterans. (The included picture is a portion of our group, all of which are veterans)

Why do you do it?

Because of the love of Jesus Christ which motivates us.
