Where did you serve and what did you do?
VFW Post 6018 is in Fayetteville NC and we support many military units through the Adopt a Unit Program at Fort Bragg sponsoring unit functions along with grants from our national headquarters. When the grants are not available we sponsor the units.
How are you #StillServing?
We sponsor over 10 unit functions per fiscal year. We are there when each unit deploys and re-deploys from overseas duties. We sponsor stand downs, Easter Egg Hunts, Back to School drives, Halloween Parties, and Christmas Parties for the community every year.
Why do you do it?
We do it because we look forward to supporting our veterans, family members of veterans, the community, and the military.
