Where did you serve and what did you do?

I served in the USAF from 10 July 1964 until 31 March 1985. Most of my career was flying as a Command Pilot in KC/EC/VC/RT-135s, OV-10, T-37, T-38. T-39, AT-33, AT-37 aircraft. From Aug 1974-Mar 1985 I served as a Director of Deployment for the B-1BA and Program Manager for B-1B Bomber programs and Director of Logistics for the GLCM System Program Office. I was an Integration Manager for the Strategic System Program Office. After retirement I served on the Fairborn City Council for 10 years.

I am still serving on the Greene County Airport Authority Board, Greene County Community Foundation Board, Fairborn Lions Club, Fairborn Rotary Club, American Legion, Veterans Foreign War Post 6861, AMVETS, Military Officers Association of America, Order of Daedalians Fairborn Military Veterans Coalition, Fairborn Military Veterans Memorial Committee, Fairborn Fly Zone Committee, Fairborn Homeless Liaison Committee,

Why do you do it?

I have been blessed throughout my lifetime and want to give back to the community. Whenever I help others, I am rewarded with a feeling of PRIDE.
