How are you #StillServing?
I am the Director of the Office of Emergency Management for Oldham County, Kentucky. (A suburb county of the greater metro Louisville area; 12th most populous county in Kentucky). I also am a Firefighter/Staff Officer to the Chief/ Public Information Officer for the Pewee Valley Fire Department in this county. And…On the Board of Directors for the Veterans Memorial Park of Kentucky located in Crestwood, Kentucky
Why do you do it?
It’s in my blood 🙂 At the risk of sounding cliché, I guess I was meant to serve. I am an Eagle Scout and started as a Volunteer Firefighter at age 17. (Oh. And by the way, did I mention I am also a retired Captain with the Kentucky State Police (25 years) with my last assignment being the Commanding Officer of one of the 16 Field Posts of the agency.)
