Where did you serve and what did you do?
Korea, MP and helped with rescue and recovery.
How are you #StillServing?
In the service, say cases of child abuse, assault and sexual violence, and in 92, was inspired to help stop violence against women and children, by becoming the first publisher in the world to focus on evidence-based medical content to diagnose, treat and prevent violence against women and children.
Why do you do it?
I was inspired to help stop child abuse, sexual harassment and assault in the world, and we now sell and distribute our content worldwide. Have been told by many customers, and authors of how our medical and forensic content have saved a child’s life or put a perpetrator aware of child harm. I have been publishing these educational resources and not getting any personal salary. I’m giving my time for this purpose.
Same with my wife, we have donated our time without pay for the last 22 plus years without getting paid, converting funds to pay bills and salary for staff. We are now recognized as one of the most prominent medical publishers in the world on this niche subject. My wife and I live on social security and tiny VA benefits from injuries and diseases pick up from exposure to uranium radiation, sulfur mustard and other chemical warfare agents in Yuma Proving grounds and in Korea.
In the ’60s after service, I had severe injuries and diseases and the VA refused to see me or honor my complaints. In recent times, I have cases 5 years old with VA and they admit the injuries and diseases but fails to honor their commitment.
