Where did you serve and what did you do?

I was an Army Medic and did 2 tours in Iraq.

How are you Still Serving?

My family is very involved in the VFW and taking care of veterans and their families. I am the Post Quartermaster, my sister the Post Sr Vice Commander, my husband the Post Jr Vice Commander, my mom the Auxiliary president plus we also have other family members in the post. We keep our VFW running, clean the building, volunteer at VFW events, promote patriotic events, pour headstones for veterans, take medical equipment to veterans and more.

Why do you do it?

Its a family tradition, my Grandpa was on B17s during World War II and became a VFW member in the 80s. Giving back to Veterans and our community helps keep his memory alive.
