Where did you serve and what did you do?
I served as a Submarine Officer in the US Navy onboard two SSN submarines. I was recalled to Active Duty and served in Afghanistan during Operation Enduring Freedom, mentoring Afghan Army officers.
How are you #StillServing?
I am a Post, District and State Officer in the Veterans of Foreign Wars helping meet the needs of veterans and their families in our community. I also work for the city of Independence, Missouri as the General Manager of the Power & Light department.
Why do you do it?
Like many of us, If not me, then who? There is a certain satisfaction in working for a cause that is bigger than my own personal concerns.
