Jaz is a 2 year old golden doodle who is the Van Wert Municipal Court’s Therapy Dog. She currently is helping in the Van Wert Veterans Court to assist our Veterans who are in the program by helping them with their PTSD and Anxiety. She also greatly assists the general public who are victims of crime that appear in court who need a bright light in times of darkness or any one anxious about being in front of a Judge.

Why do you do it?

It brings joy to me to see how a dog can bring so much happiness to someone in their hour of need. And the smiles of a Veteran who is going through something that just a pet of a dog can lift the spirit of the Veteran.
