Where did you serve and what did you do?

John served as a Marine in Vietnam in 1968. Ted served as a Navy Corpsman and later an officer in the 28th Infantry Division, Pennsylvania National Guard, where he deployed with the 56th Stryker Brigade to Iraq in 2009.

How are you Still Serving?

John and Ted Wassmer are still serving as volunteer firefighters in Quakertown, Pennsylvania.

Why do you do it?

They both wanted to stay as a service to their community and country.
