Where did you serve and what did you do?
Bosnia-Herzegovina, Inspector General; Fort G.G. Meade, Security Clearance Adjudicator; US CENTCOM, Liaison; Camp Zama, Japan, Inspector General; USNS Guantanamo, OARDEC.
How are you #StillServing?
I am a volunteer interviewer for the Veterans History Project. I interview Veterans and send their military story to the Library of Congress. www.loc.gov/vets.
Second, I am conducting research concerning Veterans buried anonymously in cemeteries of Nebraska Hospitals for the Insane. I hope to find the names of 40 to 50 Veterans who were buried by a number.
Why do you do it?
Being a Veteran carries a special meaning to me. I intend to share the stories of those I interview with the Library of Congress and in a local newspaper in Sidney, NE (suntelegraph.com… search for Veterans History Project). There are very, very few people doing this great work.
Second, NO Veteran -or anyone else – should be buried without their name. The research will clarify the 2400 names of anonymously buried people – and bring out the names of the Veterans.
