How are you Still Serving?

Before I joined the Navy I was already and active severe weather storm spotter in my community. After my active duty time I continued with spotter activities and other training to become a what I call a second responder during natural disasters in my community. I feel I help keep my community safe during sever weather getting real time information to the national weather service.

Why do you do it?

I do it for the satisfaction of feeling i keep others alerted to ever changing bad weather. Things happen under the radar and away from where the national weather service office is. As a part of their eyes on them ground I am providing visuals to what radar shows them at 25 to 50 miles away.
