Where did you serve and what did you do?

At our Post Memorial building, we served a hot breakfast to seventy-five volunteer workers before they went out to work on projects through out the community. A national organization, “Rebuilding Together” has a chapter in our community and our Post has volunteered to help in past years. Last year and this year we also agreed to prepare breakfast for all the volunteers before they go the their individual projects. It has been greatly appreciated by the organization and the volunteers.

How are you Still Serving?

Our Post provides scholarships to high-school students each year along with Patriot Pen and Voice of Democracy awards. We also acknowledge a Police and Firefighter of the Year each year with an honorarium at a banquet dinner. We provide assistance to any Veteran in need found in our Community.

Why do you do it?

Because we are committed to serve.
