Where did you serve and what did you do?

Women’s Army Corps 1962-1965, mainly at Ft Sam in Houston, TX. I was the Mail Clerk for WAC Co BAMC. My husband, now deceased, was a WWII Navy veteran, also Army Vietnam veteran and served 28 years, total. He was a lifetime VFW member.

How are you Still Serving?

I have sewn and given away over 2,050 face masks. I have a sharing library on my lawn, and I put them out there in kids & adult sizes.

Why do you do it?

Saw on Nextdoor people selling face masks, thought that is wrong to try and profit from a pandemic, and finally an emergency that I can actually do something!
