My dog is my best friend and is always there for me. Boomer knows when I am depressed. He is also the VFW South Dakota decorated veterans pheasant dog. I love sharing him with those older veterans who have never been pheasant hunting. They learn what a top of the line hunting is.

Why do you do it?

I love sharing my dog with Veterans. What he does helps me get through the dark times. I truly believe more Veteran know Boomer than they do myself.
