How are you Still Serving?

I serve through various entities … my church where I spearhead a Military Ministry, advocating for services for my female comrades, serving as co-chair for a Veteran TMRG of a healthcare network, Adjutant of my VFW and DAV Post, DAV Asst. State Chaplain but mainly serving where I’m needed and requested. Anywhere my comrades are, is where you’ll find me.

Why do you do it?

I still serve because it strengthens my ties to the community and broadens my support network while exposing me to people with common interests and neighborhood resources. My most important takeaways … empathy, compassion and understanding, but mainly because IT JUST FEELS GOOD!!!!!
