Medway VFW Post 1526:
As part of the nationwide VFW Day of Service, members of Medway VFW Post 1526 proudly gave back to their local community by restoring the dignity of veterans’ grave markers. Volunteers, including Commander Kevin Bellows, Joan Bellows, Frank Ward, James Babineau and Mark Kelley, dedicated their time to cleaning veteran stones at Evergreen Cemetery and St. Joseph’s Cemetery on Oakland Street in Medway. Their efforts helped preserve the legacy and honor of those who served. The before-and-after photos highlight the meaningful impact of their work, reflecting a renewed respect for these memorials. This project exemplifies the spirit of the VFW Day of Service—bringing communities together through acts of remembrance, service, and gratitude for our nation’s veterans.
