Where did you serve and what did you do?
I served (USAF) in Misawa and Wakkanai, Japan as an Intercept Radio Operator and crew member on surveillance flights over the Atlantic.
How are you #StillServing?
For 16 years I served incarcerated and homeless veterans in obtaining employment, getting off the streets and into transitional housing. At 83 years of age, I am retired, but am still a Board Member for the Operation Confidence nonprofit organization serving homeless and disabled veterans, and also co-host for the Operation Confidence LA Talk Radio and Facebook veterans radio program.
Why do you do it?
Because to me, every veteran is my brother and my sister. I care for them as I care for my family. They all gave some, and I feel I need to give back.
