Where did you serve and what did you do?

I served with the 18th Medical Group, 18th Wing, PACAF, Kadena Air Base, Japan, 1992-1996! I was a public health technician serving in occupational health, food inspection, and communicable disease programs.

How are you Still Serving?

Today I am the VISN 22 Lead for the Clay Hunt Act with the Suicide Prevention Team- Mental Health as a peer support specialist for the Jerry Pettis Veterans Hospital, Loma Linda, CA.

Why do you do it?

Being a Veteran recovering from mental illness, suicide attempt, and drug & alcohol recovery, I knew it was my life’s mission to show others how to recover & stand next to them throughout their journey! It’s a blessing! #bethere
