Where did you serve and what did you do?

I served in the Navy with 2 deployments in Afghanistan. Expeditionary Warfare / Naval Aviation Observer EXW/NAO sailor and proud Veteran today.

How are you Still Serving?

Today I serve the very people that the VFW was founded on serving—Veterans. As the Service Officer for VFW Post 9186 in San Antonio, I help many veterans and their family members with a wide array of VA claims paperwork. During the COVID-19 pandemic, I am still helping veterans and family members in the community; just practicing more social distance guidelines as I do this.

Why do you do it?

I do it because our community still has veterans who need claims submitted.
