Where did you serve and what did you do?

The Navy sent me to Afghanistan for tours in 2011-2012 and 2013-2014. I proudly served my country then and proudly serve veterans in the community now.

How are you Still Serving?

I am the Post Service Officer for VFW Manuel Alvarado Post 9186 in San Antonio, TX. Ever since the pandemic began, we have never stopped face-to-face appointments with veterans in regards to submitting VA disability claims. We still serve; albeit, with social distancing now.

Why do you do it?

Veterans, surviving spouses, and their children still need our help and COVID has not hindered our ability to help.
