Where did you serve and what did you do?

4 years active Army as water treatment, 2 years National Guard technically as water treatment but I was going to school to weld so I was put in with mechanics.

How are you Still Serving?

I am a recruit at our local fire protection district, soon to be a full-fledged volunteer firefighter after a few tests. I help out at a local animal rescue, The Pitbull Pen, where I clean cages and help move the dogs around.

Why do you do it?

I need to feel like I am doing something with my life, what better way than to help my community be a safer and happier place?
