Where did you serve and what did you do?

Machinist Mate serving aboard the USS Willard Keith (DD-775), USS Newman K. Perry (DD-883), USS Midway (CV-41), USS Francis Hammond (FF-1067), USS Savannah (AOR-4) and USS Detroit (AOE-4). Also stationed at USNS Rota, PSNS Bremerton and RTC Great Lakes. Serving from 1971 until 1992, retiring after the completion of the Persian Gulf War.

How are you Still Serving?

Maintaining my active role in advocating support for veterans and the organizations that provide assistance to them the best I can.

Why do you do it?

I loved serving in the US Navy and appreciate all my fellow service personnel for what they have sacrificed to serve. They are my shipmates, my brothers, and sisters.
