Where did you serve and what did you do?

I was in the Ohio Army National Guard for 6 years. I also completed a 9-month deployment at Bagram Airfield in Afghanistan doing air defense work.

How are you Still Serving?

I am still serving today by directing the Veteran and Military Advocacy Group at the University of Dayton School of Law. With this position, I am able to help veterans within the community. My goalpost graduation is to open a law practice that focuses on assisting veterans both with VA claims and also with Estate Planning and the Probate process.

Why do you do it?

I do this because I am a third-generation service member and because I am proud to be a veteran. I am thankful for all the veterans that came before me to pave the way for me to have an opportunity to become who I am today. I give back to show my appreciation and gratitude to my fellow veterans and to show them that they are not alone.
