Where did you serve and what did you do?
95-15 civil engineer, combat engineer, RED HORSE heavy equipment operator. Served in Kosovo, Iraq, Korea, Qatar, UAE, Grenada and many central/south American countries. Building or rebuilding for missions and communities.
How are you #StillServing?
After retirement, I served the community as a legion rider. Now I’m a commercial truck driver and veteran ambassador driving one of three fleets of heroes trucks. Not only am I driving a rolling billboard for veterans but I have been deemed an essential front-line worker throughout this whole ordeal. Nonstop. And before the pandemic, I was one of many who delivered much-needed water and supplies to the folks in the southern states affected by devastating storms. Eventually, I will once again be able to go back to community work but right now I’m a nationwide driver going where needed.
Why do you do it?
I served then and I’m still serving. It’s written right on my truck. The military and those who supported us gave us everything we needed, now I’m trying to give back when I can.
