Where did you serve and what did you do?

I served in the United States Air Force for 9 years as a firefighter. My CONUS assignments were at Nellis Air Force Base, Nevada, and Fairchild Air to the Middle East.

How are you Still Serving?

Following my 9 years of service in the U.S. Air Force as a firefighter, I have continued serving for the past 15 years as a federal firefighter with the U.S. Army. I currently serve as the Fire Chief at U.S. Army Garrison Dugway Proving Ground. In addition, I volunteer with my local VFW Post and participate in the Post Honor Guard whenever possible.

Why do you do it?

I serve and volunteer because I’m enjoy the opportunity to make a difference and help people, support my community, and honor those who served—continuing the commitment I started in the Air Force.
