Where did you serve and what did you do?

I served at Ft. Gordon, GA as a Tactical Officer training & counseling, and graduating Officer Candidates. I went on to Vietnam in 1967 as a platoon leader, Executive Officer and Company Commander in the 1st Signal Brigade.

How are you Still Serving?

Yes, I am serving as Commander of VFW Post # 3090 & as Executive Director & Founder of the non-profit Community Education & Development Centers Inc. (CEDC) which serves Veterans, 1st Responders, the Community & Youth.

Why do you do it?

From the Scouts and in the military, I always tried to serve. Now as a civilian, I extend that service to my community helping homeless veterans and at-risk youth by training & employing them in home renovation. The house becomes a learning laboratory while we combine job training with community Development.
