Where did you serve and what did you do?

While in the Corps from 77-81 I was a field radio operator and later worked in S-1. Most of which was on Okinaw and then MCAS Yuma. Went in the Navy from 81-85 as a Corpsman Assigned to FMF Okinawa and then Portsmouth Naval Regional Trauma Center. From 02-04 was in National Guard until sent to Operation Iraqi Freedom from 03-04

Tell us how your dog is helping you continue Still Serving in your community.

I had a beautiful white Shepard for 7 years who helped me get out and about in the community informing businesses and individuals the laws regarding Service Dog. I retired her the early part of this year and am now training an Australian Cattle Dog to be my new Service Dog and she is learning VERY fast.

Why do you do it?

I like to get as much involved with the veteran community as my health allows. I was the Post Commander at one of my local VFWs for a year and also volunteered with city, state and county law enforcement to help homeless veterans get any assistance required.
