Where did you serve and what did you do?

Served in the 81st Infantry during WWII 1942 – Dec 1945 I was in the South Pacific for 1.5 years I served in the National Guard 1948 – 1950

How are you Still Serving?

I am currently a volunteer at St. Mary’s Hospital in Janesville, WI. I have been volunteering with them since 2013. I will be turning 100 years old this July 2020.

Why do you do it?

I want to give back to my community/to help others. I like to hear stories from other veterans and their families. I love hearing “Thank You for your service” from people I have never met before. That makes me proud to be an American Veteran.
