Where did you serve and what did you do?

I served in the Marine Corps 1979-1983. I was deployed to South Korea for Operation Team Spirit 1982. I spent time at Pusan Air Base. I was a Military Policeman and Small Weapons Armorer.

How are you Still Serving?

I am a VFW Life member and Military Order of the Cootie Life member. I’m currently serving my second term as the VFW Ohio District 6 Commander. I also belong to VFW Post 892 Salem, OH. Post 892 is very active in the Salem community and surrounding areas. We just participated in the 2025 VFW Day of Service to help a lady that suffered multiple injuries from a severe vehicle accident. This involved yard work and planting flowers for her.

Why do you do it?

I enjoy being around fellow veterans. There is satisfaction from being involved with this great organization and doing charitable things for our community and helping other veterans.
