How are you Still Serving?

I volunteer with Team Rubicon (www.teamrubiconusa.org), a veteran-led humanitarian and disaster response non-profit. We provide assistance within our portfolio of capabilities to homeowners affected by disasters in a concerted effort with local emergency managers, at no-cost. We also provide community outreach events for our volunteers; specifically, in the Columbia SC area with the local Habitat for Humanity and local foodbank, Harvest Hope.

Why do you do it?

Some people within our communities need a hand up and are experiencing their worst days. Team Rubicon can bridge the gap when local emergency managers identify unmet needs. In times of crisis, we will be there to help. During times of fair weather, Team Rubicon volunteers will volunteer their time to contribute to the missions of organizations that assist those in need.
