Where did you serve and what did you do?

USN 67-70 Aircrew Plane Captain on C2a Greyhound. VRC 50 Atsugi, Japan. Detachment at Cubi Point RPI where we flew to carriers on Yankee and Dixie stations and other places including RVN. Engine mech on E2c VAW 114 at NAS North Island

How are you Still Serving?

Quartermaster/Adjutant Post 9916 Westover,WV. Serve on Honor Guard and color guard. Help with maintenance on post.

Why do you do it?

I am retired and have spare time. VFW fills a very important roll in the community. We fill a big roll in providing services for Veterans and their families. We post our nations colors when asked.lecture at schools and help when we can. Besides I feel a commitment to my Brothers and Sisters of all branches of the military by helping get benefits and many other things.
