Where did you serve and what did you do?
I served two tours of duty during the Vietnam War in the U.S. Marine Corps, fighting beside my South Vietnamese counterparts.

On July 17th, 2021 I’d just finished mowing our lawn and came inside for a break. I’d just reached our hallway when my heart stopped. I hit the floor hard. My wife still outside doing yard work was startled when my one year old beagles “Bentley” & “Blossom” inside began howling incessantly. She ran in dialed 911 and emergency responders were instrumental in saving my life.
Why do you do it?
We purchased Bentley & his sister Blossom last year in Cheney, Washington for family companionship.
