Where did you serve and what did you do?

VFW Post 10321 completed the Day of Service on 2 May 2026. Members of Post 10321 and Auxiliary partnered with the Bethel AME Church's Sons of Allen to complete the event. As part of the Day of Service, we collected non-perishable food items to be distributed to the Christian Community Action, in New Haven and ML Keefe Center, Hamden, CT. In addition to the food collection, we also gave away, clothes, hamburgers and hotdogs to over 15 community members in need. We considered the day to be a success.

How are you Still Serving?

We are still serving veterans and community members in Hamden, and surrounding areas, through food donations, clothes give away and help with the upkeep of the area around us.

Why do you do it?

We do it because we care and if not us, then who?
