My dog has helped me recover from two different cancers. He is a beloved family pet and is helping me deal with the death of a close family member. He has provided me with emotional support during the healing periods. I was able to return to my volunteer fire department after recovering from the cancer treatments.

Why do you do it?

I enjoy serving the community and like learning and doing new things.
