Military Police and Working Dog Handler, nine years Air Force & my spouse Aviation Ordnance, USS Bush four years. Both Post 9/11 War on Terror service in the Middle Eastern Theatre

Tell us how your dog is helping you continue Still Serving in your community.

I am a VSO and town Veterans Liaison looking after my 1500 veterans and military members connect to benefits and pensions, we both volunteer for Adopt a Soldier Platoon who support wounded veterans, Operation Chillout – homeless Vets, and our local American Legion Post 170 which is constantly fundraising for wounded veterans, scholarships and community projects. Plus many other small veteran non-profits

Why do you do it?

Because the VA lacks in quality support, if they didn’t we wouldn’t have so many non-profits and organizations needed to fill the gaps.
