I served in Vietnam as an Army Infantry combat veteran.

How are you Still Serving?

As a member of our VFW Post, I've held numerous positions with our Post including Commander for 3 years and am currently the Quartermaster for 9 years. We serve veterans and active duty military every day as well as serving our community every day. We presented the Colors at the beginning of the event and gathered at the end of the event to take pictures and listen to guest speakers. The Mayor of Clovis joined Post and Auxiliary members for photos.

Why do you do it?

We participated in this event "Carry The Load" to reflect and remember fallen heroes in our community including military and first responders.
