In 2016 Auston trained his first service dog, Jett, and realized he had a passion for training service dogs for veterans suffering from disabilities as a result of military service. In 2018 he opened 2 Vets K9 Training and along with his two fur kids, Jett (7 years old) and Leo (2-year-old). Jett and Leo often assist as demonstration dogs during training sessions. Auston has partnered with multiple veteran organizations giving his time back to his military service community by helping his fellow brothers and sisters train their K9 companions.
Why do you do it?
The passion Auston demonstrates daily helps him grow the communication and relationship between humans and their K9 companions.
