Okinawa, South Korea, Europe, USAF Aircraft Maintenance Officer–fighters, Squadron Commander, testified before Congress in March 1990 urging more combat-coded career fields be opened to women.

How are you Still Serving?

As a SC Ambassador for the Military Women’s Memorial (MWM), I am “spreading the word” about the MWM by presenting information at meetings and conferences. Urging women to take their rightful place in history by registering, at no cost, with the MWM.

Why do you do it?

Women have served since the Revolutionary War, but we remain largely invisible. We must demonstrate our contributions matter. Our history matters. Our stories matter.The MWM is a museum honoring all women, from all military branches active, retired, veteran.
