How are you Still Serving?

I function as our post coordinator with the Volunteer Services Manager at the Myrtle Beach VA Clinic. She also functions as the United to Combat Hunger Clinic Food Bank and food distribution manager, providing food and clothes for less fortunate veterans needing some food help. Over the past few days, with the help of our post donations. I have purchased $491 in VA Clinic requested food items and I had delivered two coffee dispensers ($149) which are used on their daily coffee cart (theirs had broken). The VA Clinic has many donors, but when the Volunteer Services Manager has a specific and immediate need. She will contact me and in almost every case, i will fill that need. The picture is of me and Mrs. Anderson the Volunteer Services Manager as she accepts my food delivery and one of the two new coffee dispensers.

Why do you do it?

Because there are veterans in need out there and I will do what I can to help them, or help others help them.
