How are you Still Serving?

Through my Post, I work closely with the Myrtle Beach VA Clinic and their UTCH food distribution program. I also help support their needs for various clothing items, personal hygiene items, and small home need items for veterans less fortunate. I recently received a detailed request for needed items that encompassed all the above categories. Through our Post Relief Fund and a generous donation from a supporter of the post, I was able to go out and purchase $521 in VA Clinic requested items. I forwarded some of the requested need items to our Auxiliary for their help and they will come through. Pictured is me delivering the items on August 7th to the VA Clinics Volunteer Services and Food Bank Manager Mrs. Anderson.

Why do you do it?

There are veterans and their families that need help. With the support of my VFW Post, the Auxiliary and some civilian friends and business owners, I have the opportunity to provide that help. So I do!
