How are you Still Serving?

For the National Day of Service, North Myrtle Beach, SC VFW Post 10804 purchased a flag-pole and flag for a nearby Adult Living Facility that has 14 veteran residents. Post 10804 and River Park Adult Living members and staff conducted a dedication ceremony with 107 people in attendance. MAny being the Post and Auxiliary members. Our oldest post member and a resident of the senior living complex is a 107 year old WW II veteran who served as a radioman in the Navy in the North Atlantic from 1940 to 1945 (GUS PRENO) on various Navy ships. After the ceremony, all attendees were treated to breakfast and an extended opportunity to socialize with the resident veterans. The picture shows members of Post 10804 and the River Park veterans
