Navy physician (flight surgeon, internist) serving in 6 countries, including 2 tours to Afghanistan

How are you Still Serving?

I now serve at Calvary Church in Charlotte as a Deacon, teacher, soccer coach, and active in missions (usually 2 overseas trips/yr).

Why do you do it?

After a career of providing medicine in challenging environments around the world, I now can lead teams from our church to provide similar care to places that don't have access to modern medicine. The knowledge base and experience God gave me in the military can still be used to provide service to those in need.
