Where did you serve and what did you do?

We served in the Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin area. Chippewa VFW Post 1038 conducted 2 food drives simultaneously at 2 different grocery stores and donated to 3 different food banks.

How are you Still Serving?

We had 6 VFW members and 6 Auxiliary members collecting food for 9 hours on May 1, 2026.
We delivered 1,100lbs of food and a check for $475 to Agnes Table food pantry, 1,270lbs of food and a check for $475 to St. Francesca's food pantry, and a check to Feed My People for $475

Why do you do it?

We continue to do foods drives for our Day of Service project every year because there is a definate need in our area.
