Where did you serve and what did you do?

I did not serve. I was married to a marine who served. My father served during World War 2, and my oldest son served in Desert Storm.

Tell us how you’re giving back to your community.

I have been an Auxiliary member for 18 years and I volunteer at the VA Hospital in Hampton, Virginia

Why do you do it?

I love our veterans and wish the veterans who came home from Vietnam were treated better than they were.
