Where did you serve and what did you do?

I served from 2000 through 2018. I had a deployment to Iraq from 2905 through 2006.

Tell us how your dog is helping you continue Still Serving in your community.

My dog has been more than a pet, he is a best friend. When my life was at its roughest as a veteran struggling with mental health issues, this dog has provided a reason to always keep giving.

Why do you do it?

I continue in the VFW because I enjoy the history, the help to the community and the unity that it brings to communities. Folks can disagree on a lot, but support for veterans is one of the few remaining ones that can unite people.
