Where did you serve and what did you do?

I served in the USAF for 4 years in the Far East, separated and joined the Army National Guard. Deployed to Bosnia and Iraq. I was a 11B, Infantry. I joined the military in 1981 via the delayed enlistment program and retired in 2016.

Tell us how your dog is helping you continue Still Serving in your community.

I was diagnosed with Moderate to Severe PTSD. My service dog, Ginger helps me reduce the episodes and helps me recover from episodes quicker and more easily.

Why do you do it?

I have survivors guilt, part of why I support the Veteran Community is to help me deal with the burden of the loss of my fellow Soldiers. They were friends. I don’t think that I’ll ever get over their deaths.
